The name of this bronze ware is Yan. It is composed of two parts, the lower part is a pot to boil water, and the upper part is a steamer. The bottom of the steamer has mesh holes, which is used to place food and allow steam to pass through. Looking from top to bottom, it is very intuitive.
However, the museum’s phonetic notation for this piece of bronze is “xian”. It is really not easy to read the names of all the bronze vessels correctly, even for a Chinese.
